We are excited that you’ve chosen to continue your education at The Catholic University of America. We look forward to working with you as you prepare to join the Catholic U Community! Here at Catholic, our Orientation program provides an opportunity for our transfer students and their families to learn more about what it means to be a student here at Catholic, recognizing you bring unique experiences as a transfer student.
As you join our community you'll find that our Orientation program has a number of sessions dedicated specifically to transfer students as well as many sessions that all students will want to attend whether they're first time freshmen or experienced transfer students.
When you register for Orientation you'll have the option of self selecting into an Orientation group of other transfer students or stay with an Orientation group based on your major. We have found that some transfer students want to get to know other students from their major while others want to connect more intentionally with other transfer students, and encourage you to select the group that best suits your needs. Either route you choose, our Orientation Advisors are all well versed in the unique experiences that you'll be facing as a Transfer student.
Please be sure to go through the information on the Orientation website to learn more about our program and reach out to us if you have any questions at 202-329-6003 or cua-orientation@cua.edu.
In addition if you have general questions about Academics and Career Success you can contact the Center for Academic and Career Success (CACS) at success@cua.edu.
If you have questions about transfer credits please contact CUA-TRANSFERCREDIT@cua.edu
